Irāna nodrošina saules enerģiju 10,000 nomadu ģimenēm

The Iranian Electricity Generation, Distribution and Transmission Company provides solar power to 10,000 nomadic households. The number of rural electricity users in Iran has reached more than 21 million, accounting for more than 31 percent of the country's total electricity consumption.
Lai apmierinātu šīs elektroenerģijas vajadzības, Irāna ir izveidojusi sadales tīklu 25,000 kilometru garumā. Pirms islāma revolūcijas tikai 4367 ciemi bija savienoti ar valsts tīklu. Taču līdz ar islāma revolūcijas uzvaru elektrības pieejamība laukos ir palielinājusies 15 reizes.
Currently, 57,966 villages are connected to the national grid, accounting for more than 99.7 percent , and the rest will also be connected to the grid in the next four years. According to Iran's Ministry of Energy, renewable energy currently accounts for nearly 7 percent of the country's total power generation.
No kopējās uzstādītās atjaunojamās enerģijas jaudas Irānā saules enerģija veido 44 procentus, vēja parki veido 40 procentus un mazās hidroelektrostacijas veido 13 procentus.
